DaamMitra Markets is an independent, English-language blog about the Indian stock market.

What we publish

• Markets today – a short daily wrap of how the Nifty 50, Sensex and major sectors moved, written in plain language.
• Official announcements, explained – simple summaries of press releases from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), and of quarterly results that companies file with NSE and BSE. We always link to the original document.
• Today's headlines – a short list of the day's important market stories, with a link to the publisher's original article and a one-line note from us.
• Learn investing – beginner-friendly explainers on topics like SIPs, mutual funds, IPOs and how indices work.

How we work

Market figures are facts; the words are our own. We don't copy or rewrite other publications' articles. Every post is reviewed by a person before it is published, and we correct mistakes as soon as we find them. If you spot an error, please tell us through the contact page.

What we don't do
